I've been all sorts of up and down this week. I tried to embrace the cleaner in me while the weather was GORGEOUS. Lilly's still sick, so I didn't get out much, but what I accomplished inside was worth it. I did, however, risk a quick outing to the garage, to vacuum out my car. After too many panic attacks when I couldn't see Lilly, and thinking she was off playing in the street, I just let her play [clean] in the trunk.
The car was my most annoying chore accomplished, but the chore that I did for the first time was cleaning our pillows. Not the cases, the pillows themselves. I was thrilled to finally be able to whip out my PINK tennis balls for fluffing the pillows back up while drying. Let's just say, that's a chore that I don't want to have to do for a long time. I'd much rather spend all my time sorting through fun mementos in the large storage totes that are taking up our storage unit....cause that's the other mind-numbing task that I've been doing a lot of lately. I actually think it's kind of fun.
I've found our time at home, inside, to be BEYOND boring at times, depressing even, but we've been surviving...I think. OH!!! I forgot to mention to highlight of the last week. Lilly used her potty for the first time!! She always sits on it, but doesn't understand that she's allowed to pee in it. She thought it was quite weird that I started cheering her on when she started to pee. Progress!

Good thing I got all my outside chores done yesterday, because it rained today (and I think it's trying to snow right now). A few months ago, Ryan sprayed his shoes with waterproof spray. Now, whenever it rains, the spot where his shoes were make it look like there's a creepy, invisible man standing on our patio. I'm thinking we need to write a message to our future condo owners... Something about the end of the world coming.

She kept herself busy with wiping everything down.

That's right. I scored PINK tennis balls from Walmart's clearance.

While cleaning out one of our storage totes, I found the love letter napkins that I tucked into Ryan's lunches every day for the first year of our marriage. Some of them are quite funny.

These two are quite the naughty pair

I went in to get her up from her nap, and ended up having to rescue Bear-bear from the death grip of Lilly

Angry bath time

She tucked Bear-bear in with June, since the kitties like to nap on the changing pad

She found all her "pretties" today.

Jack and Susan stopped by today. They got to play Legos with Lilly

It's really hard to make dinner when Lilly insists that she and all of her furry friends sit on the oven handle.
Part of why I wanted to clean out the totes in the storage unit was to look for a few things to give to Lilly. I wanted to give her my favorite bears from my childhood. I kept them because I was too attached to give them away. I'm glad I kept them, because now I can watch my baby girl love them as much as I did [do]. I also found her a little light-up ducky key chain that quacks when you push the button. She loves it! She likes to hide in the dark bathroom, shining it at everything .
