Good Intentions

I don't feel so hot right now, so this post will be quick. The highlight of last week was getting to spend all of my weekend at Jack and Susan's place with my mom, cleaning, organizing, and decorating.

We got them some adorable grey chevron sheets, a new white duvet cover, and a decorative pillow. I was super jealous of the sheets....
It's a Southern thing... The closet is now divided.

Tutus, bras, and suspenders. This is how we have fun.

Testing out how squeaky the bed was, to see how well my prank would go...
Hiding bells that will jingle when they least expect it...

The sign to the spare bedroom

The only thing we were able to do in this room was make the bed
This was my favorite thing that we did. I gave them my favorite shelf, and hung one of their wedding pictures
Got them a new shower curtain, bath mats, gave them our metal shelves, and got them new storage baskets. We wanted to keep some of Susan's pink (cuz, come on, who doesn't love pink?), but incorporate some teal to make it a bit more mature since Jack would be there now. Mom also scrubbed the mold and mildew off of the tub and toilet.
Speaking of mature.....I knew Jack would get more use out of our Potty Putter than we would.
That's the door from the backdrop at the reception.
Their porch sign said only girl scouts would be allowed to knock on the door, so we left some girl scout cookies.
We were so tired after 24 hours of cleaning and spending all our money, that we just crashed when we got home. Lilly decided to pretend nap with grandma.
