First off, I have to say that I've really been enjoying having 9 o'clock church. I thought I'd hate it at first, but I've been delightfully surprised. Sure, I don't get to sleep in, but I get up at 7 every morning anyway. Lilly does so much better in the mornings, LOVES nursery, Ryan and I can actually stay for the full 3 hours and enjoy being "alone" together, and then after we get home and have lunch, I can have a nap. Okay, moving on...
Football in the Goodrich house consists of Notre Dame and Notre Dame only! I couldn't care less about Peyton What's-his-face or anything to do with the NFL. But, the only good thing about the Superbowl is that it is just another excuse for us to have a party (and by "us," I mean "mom") My mom didn't really plan anything official, but after her guests' plans fell through, we decided not to let all the yum-yums go to waste, and ended up spending the evening with her, Jeff, and Jack. We munched on finger foods, laughed at Lilly, and annoyed Jeff with our noise. Obviously the game was a slaughter, so there wasn't much going on there. I usually only watch the Superbowl for the commercials, but these past few years, they've been fairly disappointing. My favorite commercial was the Cheerios commercial, where the dad is using Cheerios to tell his daughter that they were going to be having a baby. And, I don't remember what company it was for, but at some point Rudy appeared in one commercial, so it automatically jumps up to second-favorite.
