Scrapbook Madness

My mom and I were able to spend all of Saturday doing what we do best...SHOPPING! We needed to get Lilly a dress for Jack's wedding, and while we were at it, since we were in a mall, we decided to have some fun. It was a small miracle that we even noticed the scrapbook store that was going out of business. It was a Sesame Street scrapbook in the window that caught my eye. We wandered in to check the price, since I've been wanting to scrapbook Lilly's first year, and an Elmo scrapbook was just the perfect thing for the job. It was then that we noticed, plastered on every single surface, the signs that read "GOING OUT OF BUSINESS! EVERYTHING 50% OFF!!" We looked at each other, smiled, and ran off in our separate directions as we loaded up our baskets with decals and paper. I was seriously in heaven! I had to have gotten a couple hundred dollars worth of stuff for only $30. It was like it was sent from above. I've been wanting to scrapbook a lot lately, since I have so many milestones of mine, Ryan's, and Lilly's that need documenting somewhere other than the blog. 

After our scrapbook sale high wore off, we left the mall in search of lunch. We figured IHOP would be cheap and quick, but boy were we wrong! We both ordered something simple, but didn't end up getting our food for about 45 minutes. While we (patiently) waited, we took silly pictures with Lilly. In the end, it was all worth it.

Still working on getting Lilly used to using actual cups. I have to give her a bath and start laundry after every meal now. She's definitely getting better, though...

Dinner that night was fondue! I made enough for a small country, but it sure was delicious.
