Packages

Lots of random stuff to post about today. I babysat today. It went well, except for the part where Ben started choking on "messy cheese" (shredded cheese), and before I could determine if he needed the Heimlich, he started to throw up. So I got to enjoy cleaning puke off of everything. But I was just glad he was okay. The last thing I would have needed was to save this young boy's life. I got two "I WUV YOUs" as I was leaving, so I think that was his way of saying thank you. Ha!

Once we got home, the fun started. Well, not fun to most, but fun for me. Don't you love it when you order something, are told the delivery date, and it shows up super early? Yeah, that happened to me. We have Amazon Prime, so all of our orders ship 2nd day. So I was expecting everything tomorrow. Around 6:30, I hear a loud knock and "UPS!!" at the door. I opened it to see a very exhausted delivery man, holding a 50+ pound box. I think I got a total of 4 packages today. It made me happy. After cooking dinner (another attempt at breading bacon-wrapped chicken with almonds...this time I rolled up the chicken with a cream cheese and onion mixture -- to which Ryan noted he didn't like) I sat down to construct what was in the heavy box...another cube organizer. I have one in Lilly's room, but I thought we needed one for the living room, since her toys are EVERYWHERE. I have to admit, it looks great in the corner. Now I just have to get some baskets for it.

A picture from babysitting. Did I mention I got new glasses? Anyway, Bella the kitty is SO snuggly. I love her!!

This picture is from yesterday. This is what I found when I went in to get her after her nap. She was just resting her chin on her hand, peeking out through the rails. Like "I've been waiting for you...*sigh*"

Little Miss Naughty found the DVDs. I fear I'll never be able to keep them organized. Forget that they WERE all alphabetized....

This is probably part of why the package was so dang heavy. It was like a never-ending piece of paper.

Ta-da! I'm heading to Target tomorrow to get some Tiffany Blue baskets. Ryan wants to move the entry way table (to the right) somewhere else so that we can put a baby gate between the couch and the wall, making Lilly her very own toy nook. I'm considering it....
