Kiddy Corner

I think I spent more time out today than I did at home. As soon as I got up, I ran over to Target and Walmart. Target first, because when there's something specific I'm going for, I get paranoid that it's going to be gone before I can get to it. And when it sells out online, that really gets me anxious. I needed to get fabric baskets for the cube shelf that I assembled last night. I decided to get 4 Tiffany blue and 5 other random colors. I thought it would be fun to have the baskets be bright and colorful, since they're full of Lilly's toys. Plus, when she gets older, I can say things like "your crayons are in the brown basket." I think I made the right decision, because her toy corner looks so dang cute now.

After my FIRST round of shopping, I had to run back out to return something to Target (and get Ryan popcorn, since I forgot to the first time), and while I was out, I decided to hit Hobby Lobby. Everyone knows I'm a get-it-all-done-in-one-trip kind of person. Bad move. I went in for ONE thing, and ended up spending almost an hour. They were having a killer sale. Almost everything was 50% off. So I needed to find some stuff for projects I had planned. I got a really cute shadow box for a project for Lilly, and some cute decor items for a project I'm planning for the living room. Dang Pinterest. You're making me too crafty!!

I know it doesn't need to be said, but I saw this on Pinterest. Lilly has never really been a binky baby. Now she just thinks they're toys, and finds joy in chewing on the sides. They're more of a teething tool than anything. 

I think it's adorable.
