As always, Lilly was a star at the doctor's office. She's super shy, yet super flirty lately. She dips her head down and looks up under her lashes. It's adorable. What's not so adorable is how she has pretty bad stranger anxiety. Even the doctor made her scream. The only good thing about her being afraid of everyone, is that I'm the one she always wants, and she snuggles me when she's scared. Sad, yet cute. Anyway, I was able to say yes to all of the developmental questions. She's doing everything she's supposed to be doing, and more. The doctor was impressed that she claps when she hears the word "clap." I don't have to do anything but say the word. He also loved that she knows the sign for "milk."
Her stats are always something I'm anxious to see. She's in the 95th percentile for head circumference (up 5% since last time. That baby brain is growin'!) She's in the 94th percentile for weight, and 99th for height. She's SUPER tall according to him. He said she's measuring the height of a 15 month old. She is 30" long and 22.8 lbs. She didn't really gain any weight since the last appointment. She's just getting taller and slimmer.
I was under the impression that she didn't need to get any shots today. Turns out, she did. She had to get her toe pricked to check iron levels, and then two additional shots. She hated them! Every time I would set her down, she would start to scream. She was pretty upset that I let the scary strangers hurt her. All it took to calm her was food. That's my girl!!...When I went to get her out of the car at my next errand, I HAD to take a picture. She was fast asleep, milk all over her face, and bottle still in her hands. Such a cutie!
Once my errands were finished, I ran over to say hi to my mom, since I was only a few blocks away. She babysits Lilly's 4 month old cousin, Paisley, every Monday and Tuesday, so we got to play with her. Lilly still thinks it's okay to poke other babies in the eyes and steal their toys. Paisley was a good sport.

| She always has to play with the cords. Look at her poor, bandaged toe |

| Instead of a sucker to take home, the doctor let her keep the tongue depressor. She's been chewing on it all day. |
