Crafts, Walkers, and One Naughty Kitty

Lots happened today, but I don't feel like writing out three separate blog posts again. And I'm sure you don't feel like reading that many, either. So, I'm going to bundle them all in one.

My mom is the best! She found the smaller, decorative frames that I wanted. They were unfinished and very cheap, so I decided to try my hand at painting them to match the big one I got. I think they turned out great! I want the big one to be for a family picture, and then have the smaller three be for individual pictures of Ryan, Lilly, and I. But we're not taking new family pictures until May, so this new layout will have to do for now. Lilly was awesome while I hung everything. She was napping the whole time, and didn't wake up when I was hammering or drilling.

Eventually, when Lilly can reach the TV, we're going to mount it on the wall. These will hopefully fit above it.

Since I took down the shelves above the TV, I had to find new places for the clock and "Goodrich" plaque.

I finally got my plate back from Color Me Mine. It's super cute. I just need to make plates for the other seasons now. And my mom's Easter plates are adorable!

Lilly loves walking so much, we decided to see how she would handle a stand-to-walk toy. For now she's more interested in the toys and the wheels. She's also pretty scared of walking with it. She mostly leans all of her weight into it when she walks, causing it to roll super fast. She can't keep up, and usually ends up falling. So when I stand her up with it, she starts to cry. Ha! I think we may have to walk with her until she gets used to it.

What is it about these wheels that she loves so much?

She tends to push it until it crashes into something and stops.

And last but not least, another silly thing that happened today. We keep a small tool box in the coat closet, so while I was hanging pictures, I just left it open. Thank goodness I looked towards the floor before I closed the door. Junie crawled into the basket of the stroller and refused to come out.
"What's the password?"

"You can't get me!"
