Despite the snow, I went back to "work" today. I was actually very excited to do so. I love the kids, and I love feeling like I'm back in the routine of things. It was a lot easier than I thought it was going to be. I worried about feeling weak or having a hard time lifting the kids and such. But everything went really well and we had lots of fun. My favorite is when I'm leaving, and the 2 year old yells out "I WUV YOU!"
After babysitting, I got to go and visit my nephew Joel. Such a cutie! Lilly enjoyed getting to play with the dog, Chester, while mommy hogged the baby. Actually, the dog terrified her every time he got up in her face to lick her, but she eventually thought it was funny. Anyway, let's just call today a good day.
Lilly got to try a few new things today. First was when she found the door stop, and sat and flicked it for a good twenty minutes. Then I wanted to see what she would do with stairs. I put her on the first stair, hoping that she'd manage to shimmy up the rest, but after the first 10 minutes of pure joy, she started to get upset that she couldn't get up to the next step. She did try REALLY hard, though.

Endless fun for kids, I swear

This is my adopted kitty, Bella. She is so cuddly and sweet.

Trying to figure out the stairs. I put the blanket down so that she wouldn't be tempted to suck on the carpet.
