Ever since I was little, my birthday has been combined with an awesome tradition that my mom started...which made it double awesome. Every December 5th, we would put our shoes outside of our bedroom doors, and by morning, they were full of candy and toys in celebration of St. Nicholas Day. As we got older, my mom had to combat our attempts at putting out our snow boots in an effort to get more candy. I wanted to start that tradition with Lilly. So last night we put out our shoes, and what do ya know, they were full this morning!! Ryan and I got lots of nummy candy and Lilly got baby food. Don't worry, Lilly, it gets better!
