Rubber Ducky

Lilly is growing up so quickly. She's now the master of sitting up by herself. I was toying with the idea of letting her have a bath without her bath seat. Well, the decision was made for me. I put her in the seat, she started to try and sit up, and it tipped forward, plopping her down onto her tush, in the water. Okay then, she's officially too heavy for the seat. It's okay, Lilly, mommy worries about being too heavy for seats, too. :P Anyway, she did really well. She loves to eat her loofah and her rubber ducky. When the water started to cool down, I turned the faucet on to get some more warm water...that freaked her out. At first she started splashing her arms and legs wildly, but then she started to panic. I'll need to stock up on some more bath toys the next time I'm out, then maybe she'll be too distracted to care. 

She really needed the bath tonight. I was sitting on the couch with her, giving her a baby massage with some lotion while we watched a movie. Side note: it's actually very soothing and peaceful to just rub her feet and thighs while watching a movie. Anyway, Willow has an obsession with licking lotion off of people. I usually get attacked after my shower in the morning because I put scented lotion on my face. She jumped right up on my leg and started licking Lilly's thighs.
