Oh No I Didn't!

Sorry, mom! Even though you told me to resist, I couldn't! I got so into cleaning today, I just had to continue. After I ran out of things to do, I must have caught the Christmas bug, because I got the sudden urge to put up the Christmas tree. I know most of you just gasped and choked on your gum, but here's my reasoning...We're going to Seattle next week, and the last thing I want to do when I get home is unpack AND put up Christmas. Yes, I could wait, but who doesn't love the soft glow of twinkle lights in the evenings? Oh wait, I can answer that...RYAN, AKA, Scrooge!

I don't think he's going to believe me when I tell him that the elves did it. He sure does hate anything to do with Christmas before about the 21st of December. But hey, my mother is the queen of decorating, especially for Christmas (no really, it's disgusting how many Christmas decorations they own...in fact, mom, I may have to do a blog post on it this year. And don't worry, we're not planning and intervention or anything *wink wink*) So can he really expect me to wait that long? NO, no he cannot. Let's just be thankful that it's just the tree. 

Complete with "Baby's First Christmas" ornament, and our new ND ornament. One day I'll find a topper that I like.
