It only took 4 hours, but we set up the dresser! And Ryan DIDN'T re-injure himself carrying in the 150 lb box from the car. He wouldn't even let me near the car because I risked hurting myself, so I just took pictures instead.
I had to finally take a picture...This is what we see every time we leave the house and look back at the door. The babies ALWAYS peek their heads up and watch us leave. The best part is that if you're far away, all you can see is two heads popping up, no body. It's so sweet....breaks my heart to leave.
And of course, Mama Mia! My mom's birthday is on Monday, so we asked her and Jeff to go to the temple and dinner with us. It was really special. While we were in the temple, my mom kept putting her hand on my belly and saying things like "3 generations!" After the temple, we went to, can you guess??....Olive Garden! My favorite was not only watching my mother get embarrassed as a strange waiter sang happy birthday to her, but watching Ryan and Jeff fight over who got to pay. At first Jeff won (we were upset because we'd asked them if we could treat them to dinner), but when Jeff wasn't looking, Ryan practically jumped across the table and snatched the bill. That's right, that's my hubby! The best news of the day is that the nursery is 80% complete! Dresser is finished and looking GORGEOUS! Curtains (not the ugly ones) are hung...it's so perfect! And no, no matter how much begging my peeps do this time, I'm not sharing. :P
