Nurse Nanny To The Rescue

Today just needed to not happen. I woke up to snow, driving to work was terrible, our systems crashed at work...I admitted defeat and took my mandatory once a week half day. Things started to look up when I came home to find that the baby's dresser, curtains, and crib bumper had delivered two days early. I literally ran upstairs with the curtains and bumper to see how they looked. I felt like a little kid opening a birthday present when I tore into the box. But then my heart dropped. My curtains were HIDEOUS! (I'll explain with pictures below...)

I hopped in bed and pouted a bit. I LOVED the bumper, but I was so bummed about the curtains. I have a backup set, but I just wish the ones I ordered were like the pictures. Oh well. Ryan came home early and surprised me...in a bad way. He had to leave work early because he pulled a muscle in his abdomen. After explaining his symptoms, Nurse Nanny mode clicked on, and I got worried that he could have a hernia. On top of that, he's feverish and achy. I ran out to get him some Icy Hot cream to help him get through the muscle pain. Now he's wrapped up, ribs rubbed down with cream, and a heating pad on top. I might make him miss work tomorrow if he gets any worse. Sitting in his desk chair is killing him, so I won't condemn him to a day of agony. I need him in tip-top shape to set up the dresser this weekend.

The forecast for tomorrow has winter snow warnings...I wish I could stay home too.

I was SOOO in love. Now I'm SOOOO sad. Am I crazy to think that these pictures are so far apart? My color scheme is coral pink; exactly what I thought the left picture showed. What I got looks mostly white with purply, dark pink. I hated it!
(I know I said I wasn't going to show the curtains, but since I'm sending them back and going a complete different direction, I figured I wasn't giving up too much)
