He Love Me, He Loves Me Not. HE LOVES ME!

Let me just start off this post by saying I AM WAY TOO SPOILED! My hubby is seriously the best. My Valentine's Day started out with him offering to drive me to work. Usually I drop him off at the bus stop and then drive into work. I HATE driving. I hate traffic. I hate stupid people. So already, my day was so much better. I got into work to find a $25 gift card from the company on my keyboard. The day kept getting better. Then when Ryan picked me up, he came into work with a bouquet of my favorite flowers, cookies, and a card. I opened the card in the car and about died from laughing! We're both nerds, let's just get that out of the way. We both love the Ewoks from Star Wars, so you'll see why the cards were perfect. When we got home, more surprises awaited! Yet again, he totally blew my present out of the water...

Ryan is a huge lover of games: XBOX, computer, iPad...anything. His favorite XBOX game is called "Portal." Above his desk, we have a little floating shelf with all of his games neatly standing side by side. I stumbled across some Portal bookends that I thought would be perfect to hold up his games. And what did he do to one-up my present? He got me a Kindle Fire!! It's basically just a mini iPad. I am especially excited to load it up with all of my favorite books. And I'm excited to start reading again! It surfs the web, has apps like the iPad...it does everything! Gosh, he's so amazing! I totally don't deserve him.

Ryan had to tear me away from my new Kindle to get me to go to dinner. I always decide where we go for dinner, and I knew Ryan would insist I pick this time, being the gentleman he is, so I wanted to go somewhere I knew Ryan would love. His favorite restaurant is Texas Roadhouse, so we went there. We walked in to find out that the wait was 80-90 minutes. OUCH! One of my good friends, Alli, works there, so I wanted to run up and say hi while we waited. Little did I expect, she seated us immediately. I felt like a celebrity for a second when we got to basically cut in front of the other 100 or so people cramming the entrance. I gave Ryan a high five when we sat down. Haha! Dinner was spectacular! They had a Valentine's Day deal where we got a HUGE appetizer, another appetizer/side, salads, and steaks (with 2 sides each) for less than what we would have paid if we had just ordered the steaks. SCHWEET! Suffice it to say, we ended up leaving with 3 take home containers.

What an amazing husband I have. He treats me like his princess each and every day, and today was no different. I love him more than I know how to say.

Aren't these the cutest cards ever!?!

I'm not much of a rose girl, so he always gets me my favorite gerber daisies.

I can blog, Facebook, email, watch movies (for free since we have Amazon Prime), and read books.

Our cheese fries were indeed cheesy. :D

I thought they were totally adorable!

Now onto the best part of Valentine's Day: LOVIN'. I get to snuggle the night away with my favorite person on the planet.

  1. So cute! What a fun day. You know, one Halloween our whole family did Star Wars costumes. Hubby and I were Han and Leia, boys were Obi Wan and Yoda, and I made an Ewok costume for the baby. It turned out pretty cute if I say so myself! You'll have to go back through my Facebook photos to 10/09.
