Christmas #1

Ahh the joys of being married! Two Christmases with two amazing families. Today was round one with my family. We had initially planned to have it tomorrow and split the day between families, but timing didn't really work. My mom's new favorite thing is to buy everyone matching jammies each year. This year she got us black and red plaid pants, and custom red shirts with Christmas black bears. My step dad is obsessed with bears, so they wouldn't be complete without bears... Opening presents was fun. We always start with stockings that are stuffed with the most random and useless stuff. My presents consisted mostly of baby stuff, while Ryan's had lots of funny nerdy things and really sexy sweaters. My mom has amazing taste...err, I mean Santa has amazing taste. Then came food!! I'm still in pain from eating so much. Ryan is downstairs in the man cave, helping Jeff set up his new XBOX. Now we have to go home to recoup for Christmas #2.

My basket of gifts. It made bringing home all of the stuff we got SO much easier.

I keep looking at this picture and thinking we have missionary tags on. Nope, just dumb bears with Santa hats on. :P (Ew, I look disgusting)

The Griffinkottrich's. Poor Matt was punched in the face this week and has really black eyes and a broken nose.

Ooh, random story from this morning. Ryan went out to buy flowers to surprise me with, and came back with another awesome story. If you'll recall, he got the oil change and tire rotation for free yesterday, and this morning he got the flowers for free too. Something about how the woman at the store couldn't get the register to work, so she told him just to go home and make his wife happy. So when I woke up this morning, I had McDonald's and flowers waiting for me. I'm starting to think Ryan needs to go out car shopping and see if his charm can get him one for free. Seriously, I wonder if we would have gotten anything for free if I had gone. I'm definitely not as charming.

My pretty flowers! FREE flowers! :D

Randomly, I forgot to post the picture that we took at work on Thursday. My mom hired a Santa to come to work, and then invited all of the employees to bring their kids to meet Santa. She was so kind and remembered to bring me her other ugly sweater so that I could act as Santa's helper. (recognize the one she's wearing?) We had lots of fun and took lots of goofy pictures. Haha, look at me, my sweater doesn't even cover all my tummy. :P
