I was beyond thrilled to find that all of my Halloween decorations survived the storms while we were gone. I felt like a big jerk last night because I had to have all my decoration lights on so that my decorating could be judged, but I wasn't handing out candy. Bait and switch! Sorry, but Ryan and I had other plans for the night, and that didn't include handing out candy. Instead, Ryan stopped at the store on his way home from class and bought lots of our favorite goodies. We gorged ourselves on candy and cookies while we watched Scream 4. By the way, STUPID movie. Don't ever cast a Disney Channel star as the main character that gets to throw out F-bombs. Totally a dumb movie.
I'm hoping my decorating was enough to win the contest. I may not have had a ton, but I personally feel that I should win because of my creativity. We shall find out soon enough!
