Change Of Pace

Today was a nice change of pace. Instead of lazing around all day, I got up and decided to make some Christmas cards to introduce to Nanny's Notes. Then, after having decided I'd been productive enough for one day, I participated in some of my normal routines: watching Spongebob, napping, and watching the kitties. Ever since we found out that the kittens like to sleep in the sock drawer (REALLY like it), we keep it open with a little fleece blanket. But Angel has since discovered it too and spends all day in it. Today Willow really wanted to join her, but seeing as Angel still hates them, she just sat and watched....then she started poking. It only took one poke to tick Angel off enough to get her to run away. I guess Willow won in the end because she was sleeping in the drawer for the rest of the day.

I thought they turned out nicely. The snowman one is getting sent off to Argentina tomorrow for my favorite Elder!
(And the brown smudges on the snowman are distress marks. I thought the circles would blend together too much if I didn't distress one.)

Willow sat there looking at Angel all pathetic-like. I imagined her saying something like "hey, ca...can I have a turn?". She has always loved Angel despite Angel's hating her, so she isn't afraid to poke or prod.

A few hours later my Ryan came home! He brought with him a Little Caesar's Pizza and suggested that we do something a bit different tonight. Different? A puzzle! I love doing puzzles! So we munched on pizza and breadsticks, and then spent 4 hours putting together a puzzle. The best part was watching two of our favorite dorky movies: "Rocket Man," and "The Emperor's New Groove." Both of us were quoting them the entire time. It was nice to do something different.

Sitting at the table was hurting my tummy because I had to lean in to see any of the pieces. (it's kind of sad how big my tummy is getting) Sitting on my knees was the only way I could get comfortable.

Tomorrow is Thanksgiving, and I can't even begin to describe how extremely excited I am to stuff my face. Despite how sick I've been and how food has become repulsive to me, the thought of Thanksgiving dinner has never had a bad connotation with it. I could care less about the turkey, just give me stuffing, mashed potatoes, and CRANBERRIES!!
