Day 3: "Fun" Day At Sea

This was our first day at sea. I was so exited to have a day off. After no sleep the day before the trip, a long day of travel, and then a hot day in Ensenada, I needed some rest. We slept in hardcore that day. I was SO tired! Once everyone was finally able to pull themselves from bed, we noticed on our schedule that there was a trivia game going on, so our group all went to see what it was about. It was just a general knowledge trivia game, but we won! We got our first dinky gold ship on a stick...or a "piece of ship" as we called it. We were immediately addicted. What else is there to do for a group of Mormons? Everyone else was there to drink and gamble, so we decided that this was our cruise game. Throughout the duration of the cruise, our group won about 17 all together. I won two on my own! I won a "famous faces" game and a movie trivia game. People were actually super shocked that I knew so much about movies. Haha! At one point, the cruise director told us that if we could gather up 20 trophies, we could have the keys to the ship. We would have done it, but towards the end of the cruise, when we had won every single game, we started giving away our trophies to people that didn't have any.

It was around this time that I started to notice that my feet were swelling. I had swelling during my last pregnancy, but that was a blood pressure thing. This was just random! It got so bad at times, I noticed that the top of my foot was turning blue and bruised from how swollen it was getting. I was so miserable. On top of that, the swaying of the ship was making my constant nausea about 100 times worse. Luckily, I went to my doctor beforehand and got some prescription anti-nausea pills. They helped, but if I was caught off-guard, I would get so sick.
