Back To Boring

I'm having a hard time switching from babymania back to normal, boring life. But I'll try.

I decorated a little bit more today. It made me kind of sick. I'll explain. I got this idea off of Pinterest. It's free and seemed pretty easy, so I figured I'd give it a shot. I've spent the last few weeks begging everyone around me for their empty milk jugs. I've managed to get 7. I drew ghosts on them, strung them onto yarn, and cut a slot in the bottom for tea lights. Here's the thing. Milk jugs that sit around for a few weeks tend to go rancid...even if you attempt to clean them. So the entire time I was dealing with them, I had rancid milk smell all up in my face, and gross, milky, stinky water dripping on me. NOT fun when you're suffering from severe morning sickness. I'm proud to report that no puking took place, and I was able to run to the shower to clean the stink off of me right after. They look okay. I had a hard time deciding where to hang them. I chose our "backyard." I strung them between our fences, not before warning Ryan that every time he wanted to come into the house, he may want to duck.

(these are battery tea lights, not fire)

Seeing as we chose Saturday to share our good news, I didn't want to overshadow it with something as trivial as a hair cut. But yes, I got my hair cut. I think I got 3-4 inches cut off, but it feels so much shorter. It's so much healthier and I have stopped crying when combing my hair. :D I figure it didn't matter how much I cut off since I'm taking prenatals and it will probably grow right back out.

I've got the rest of this week off since last Friday was my last day at my mom's work. It's been really nice to relax and clean....and prepare for the cruise. I'm SO excited to go on a 10 day cruise with my hubby. I envision lots of laying out (in moderation, as to not harm lil' baby), and LOTS of eating. Seriously, there's going to be lots of snacking for this momma. Can't wait!
