If you had told me this morning that I would have been spending my afternoon with the doctor, I probably wouldn't have believed you. But I got home from work, and since Ryan asked me to call the doctor about lots of issues I've been having, I decided to do what my hubby asked, and called. I was hoping for an appointment next week or something. NOPE! How about 1 hour? Okay, guess that works. Days like this make me wonder why I dropped out of med school. I went in with a list that I made of pre-diagnosed issues, and what do ya know, they were exactly what the doctor said I had. Without getting into too much detail (I know I have some readers that don't like my TMI), I'll just give a quick list, no details... I have been diagnosed with gastritis, IBS, sciatica, and dermatillomania. Oh, and possibly have continuing gallbladder issues that may just require getting the stupid thing taken out. Surprise! I also had to have some x-rays taken of my spine to see if the pain is associated with stress fractures. If I've been walking around with a fractured spine, I will be one unhappy girl. Lucky for me, all of my issues were the kind that don't have cures or any meds to make them easier. So the doctor basically told me "sorry, you get to live this way for the rest of your life." So it looks like it's upset tummy and back pains forever! Woo!

The things I do for my readers! I'm not sure if this face was one of "yay, more issues!" or "I can't believe I'm taking this picture just for my blog!" I think it was a little of both.
But hey, I took away from this whole experience that my life and my issues could most definitely be MUCH worse. So I'm thankful that I'm only suffering from things that I can actually live with on a daily basis and aren't actually life threatening.
