Most days when I ask Ryan when he thinks he's going to be home from work, he'll usually tell me 4:30, but on the off chance that he says 5:00, I know something's up. Today was normal when he told me 4:30, so I had dinner going around 4. At a quarter after 4, the front door opened. It was Ryan. Usually when he lies about when he's going to be home, it means that he's trying to surprise me. Those are the days that I get flowers. Well, he admitted that he intended to stop by the store and grab flowers, but was already walking up the sidewalk to the apartment when he remembered. Haha, poor guy is so tired, things just slip away sometimes. He handed me a morning glory flower from the lawn outside...okay, I guess it's not a flower, but more of a weed. It was still cute though.
We love eating our salads every night for dinner, but this week I was asked to make Ryan's favorite: Chicken Puffs! We enjoyed our chicken puffs and then headed out to run errands (see previous post).

This afternoon was really slow for me. (As it always is when I have the day off) When I got up, I went and sat in the living room and watched all three cats. Willow was asleep on the couch (she's the good kitty), while Junie antagonized Angel. For the first time in a LONG time, Angel was playing with me and the babies. Junie seems to feel that Angel is warming up, but isn't fully ready to play with her. Angel was sprawled out on the floor while Junie slowly prepared herself for pouncing. Below is the slow motion shots of how it all went down. She backed out at the end, but it was still funny to watch. I also put up a video of Willow playing with one of her 100 mice that we have sitting around here. She's so adorable. The sad thing is that her little voicebox seems to be broken, and every time she cries, it's just her opening her mouth and nothing coming out.
(1)She peeked around the corner of the TV stand, (2) slowly marched over, (3) waited when she thought she'd been caught, (4) and then right at the last second she decided she was too tired to attack.
