Nanny's Notes Celebrates Father's Day

Today was the first time in a while that I've sat down and made new cards. And may I just say, they are probably the cutest cards I've ever made. I told Ryan that it was probably because my creativity has been building up for so long. :P I made two Father's Day cards for my papa-in-law Kevin. He served in the Navy, so I couldn't resist making a sailor suit. The best part is that the sleeves and the collar both slide in, making the card square again, so they can be put into envelopes. I LOVE them. I think I'm going to start a "career" and "sports" line of cards. I can make really cute jerseys and outfits pretty easily, so I think those will sell well. Yay for Nanny's Notes!

Since it's Father's Day, I need to send a shout out to the best dad ever...and the best father-in-law ever. I love them both so much! I miss getting to spend time with my dad since he's moved to Seattle. I find myself thinking back on all of the funny memories that we've made together. Hopefully I'll get to see more of him in the future. And my father-in-law is SO amazing. I remember the first time I met him; he immediately treated me like family. He's so gentle and sweet, and always gives me a hug and kiss when we say goodbye. :D I love dads!

Papa Goodrich. Such a great guy...with such a cute purse!
