Mommy's Day Out

Today has been a good day! It's always a good day when I get to see my mommy. My friend Aaron's homecoming is tomorrow, so we decided to stay the night at my mom's place in Draper. So we packed up the babies and headed down. We spent most of the afternoon out and about. It was a nice change of pace. My mom loves her grandkitties, and they love her! We're going to have fun sleeping tonight because we don't have anywhere to lock them up, so they get to sleep with mommy and daddy. I'm predicting that we won't be getting any sleep.

We wanted to treat my mom to a good dinner, so we took her to Texas Roadhouse. It was fun! We had a good time catching up and telling stories of my youth. Now Ryan knows where the scar on my forehead came from. :P

Now we're all snuggled up on the couch (yes, all three of us on one couch, and my mom better keep her hands to herself...she has a crush on Ryan. hehe :P ) We're watching the movie "Just Go With It." Not sure how I feel about it yet. But hey, I don't get to watch new movies all that often. Yet again, another good change of pace.

I'm really surprised at myself. I had my camera on me all day, but didn't have my brain on apparently. I didn't take any pictures of any of our fun! I will make up for it tomorrow though. I'm planning on borrowing my mom's nice Nikon, and having a kitty photo shoot! Tomorrow is going to be so fun. Catching up & kitties!
