Love Letter Day....again

What do ya know, it's the 10th of the month and that means it's Love Letter Day!! I was a very mean wife today. I got up and was excited that today was Love Letter Day. Usually I don't have to wait very long to get it, because normally it's waiting in my email by the time I get up. Today it wasn't. So I found myself checking my email every 10 minutes. Still nothing. 6:00 came around, and I was running out the door to go visiting teaching, and still nothing. I was kind of bummed all day. I'll admit that I was kind of upset. Not at Ryan, but just at the fact that my day seemed to be one where I felt forgotten. I had an over-the-phone job interview, and the guy never called. My visiting teacher partner was over twenty minutes late and I thought she'd forgotten me. So when I didn't get my Love Letter, I was getting kind of down on myself. But I got a pleasant surprise when I got home and checked my email. My poor husband has been so stressed with school and work, and just had to push it off. I feel bad. I don't want Love Letter Day to become a chore for him. Besides, he brought me flowers yesterday, I think that counts. Here's my favorite snippet of today's letter:

"I love you so freaking much. My love for you continues to grow on a daily basis. You are a wonderful person and I love being around you. You are so freaking gorgeous. You are beyond beautiful to me, it’s ridiculous how I could end up with such an attractive woman. You are so selfless in everything you do. You do all these chores, you even cooked breakfast on Mother’s Day and didn’t say a thing. You always set out to serve and to show your love around the house. You take care of me and I love it so much. It’s nice to have someone to watch over me. You are such a wonderful and supportive woman. I can’t emphasize enough that you are the best thing to have happened to me. I can't wait to start a family with you. I can’t think of a better person to have as my spouse. You’re a wonderful companion and will doubtless be a wonderful mother. Thank you for everything you do and for being the person you are. I love you with all my heart and I can’t wait to be in your arms once more tonight."

I cut out a bunch, but that was a rundown of my favorite parts. He's so sweet. This past month has been so amazing. Ever since I started taking my medication for depression, we've been enjoying each other so much more. Well, maybe Ryan's been enjoying me more. I truly love being married. Sometimes I sit and think about how grateful I am that I never have to be apart from Ryan again. It's still somewhat foreign to me that I get to see him everyday. Being away in Omaha for so long made me wonder if the day would ever come. It has, and it's bliss.
