Party Pooper

Thursday was my step-sister's big day. It didn't occur to me until the last second that Lilly's doctor appointment was on the same day, and that we risked having a very cranky baby for the wedding. There was a 50-50 chance that we'd either spend the whole time consoling a very mad baby, or we'd just end up leaving early. She was cranky, but it was because she was hungry and tired....we all were.

The wedding was amazing. It was held at the Red Butte Gardens. Lots of pretty flowers, cute yellow and gray decorations, and yummy food. My favorite was the photo booth. Lilly, as you'll see, was straight-faced and angry-looking in every single one of the pictures. In fact, in one of them, she's turning to slap Ryan in the face. Oh well. She cheered up when the DJ started playing music. She was the only one out dancing. I couldn't get enough of the adorable baby, spinning in circles and twirling around. SO cute!! We did end up leaving before any of the real stuff started happening. Lilly was so exhausted, she fell asleep before we even hit the freeway...cookie still in hand.

This picture is SO cute. That's Karder (the bride's son) and his two cousins. Jaycee is teaching him how to dance, and Jayden apparently thinks it's the craziest thing she's ever seen.

I made the mistake of taking off my shoes, and she stole them, put them on, and then slowly walked around in them.

Seriously. Not ONE smile. I now have another photobooth picture to hang on the fridge, next to the one that Jack took with Lilly last year. Woo!!
