Clean Freak
It is with great pride and joy that I get to write this post. I've started to notice something peculiar about my Lilly...or should I say Mini-Me. They're not lying when they say that babies will mimic what they see. Apparently my constant cleaning is rubbing off on Lilly more than I thought. From running around the house with a baby wipe, rubbing down every surface, to throwing stuff in the garbage...even stuff that mommy doesn't want thrown away, she is starting to clean more than she messes up. Today I found one of Ben and Adele's beach balls in the garbage can. I'm having to do checks before taking the trash out. Also, every bath time is now spent moving all of her toys from one toy caddy to the other. The other day while babysitting, I actually watched in shock as Lilly walked around the living room, cleaning up the toys on the floor. Am I proud? You betcha!! Hopefully these cleaning tendencies are something she carries with her throughout her life.
During dinner at Kevin and Jan's on Saturday. She didn't want to eat dinner, and instead threw it all on the floor. When I let her out of the highchair, she spent the rest of dinner picking up all the food she threw on the floor, and put it in the garbage.
Sorry about the baby tush.
Putting away puzzle pieces.
