I've always been one of those people that gets excited to get the mail. More so when I was younger and didn't have to get bills. Still to this day, I get excited whenever the UPS or Fed Ex truck pulls up outside, and I know the package is for me. Yesterday was a UPS jackpot. I had a Macy's gift card to use up last week, so I ordered a few fun goodies for myself. First was a set of dishes that I've been eying forever. I've said it before, but I'll say it again, I get anxious just waiting around to buy something, because more often than not, the item will sell out or be discontinued by the time I'm ready to buy. So I bought the dishes and put them straight into our storage unit. These will be for when we get a house (feels like it'll be sometime within the next 10 years)...My "nice" dishes, if you will.
Second was a watch. This came last week. I've been telling Ryan that I'd love to get a watch if I could lose enough weight. Not that I couldn't wear them before, I just have more self confidence now and feel like accessorizing. :P
