Lilly had a first. After her routine swing session, we both sat in the grass while watching Ben and Adele play. At first, she wasn't really sure what to think of the pokey grass. Once she decided it wasn't edible, she was okay with just playing in it. Bella the cat always gets to go out with us, so Lilly crawled around the grass, chasing the kitty. By this point, she had been getting lots of sun, combined with no naps, and was starting to get really cranky and tired. When Elsa got home from school, she took over Lilly duty and tried her hardest to get her to nap. At first she tried pushing her around in the stroller...she fell asleep, but not for long. Then she tried the baby swing (I think it's made for dolls, because Lilly hated it), and then she wrapped her up in a blanket and held her while swinging on the park swings. She fell asleep, but once all of the other kids got loud and rowdy, she woke up. Suffice it to say, she still hasn't napped.
Sleeping in stroller, holding mommy's hand, clapping with joy at the sight of swings, and lounging, barefoot in the grass.
