Just Keeps Going

The birthday fun just keeps going! Imagine my surprise today when I answered the door to find two HUGE boxes on my doorstep. One said Macy's on the front and the other was from Pier One. Oh? After getting permission from Ryan to open them, I became the happiest wife on the planet! Apparently a very elaborate birthday surprise was set up by Ryan and my mom. My mom, dad, and step-dad all chipped in to get me my  Tiffany Blue Kitchenaid stand mixer and some decorative baskets that I've been dying to have. THANK YOU, FAMILY! I'm so in love with my new toys! I told Ryan that all of the decor that I bought for our new house when we moved, was counting as my Christmas and birthday presents. I totally did not expect to be so spoiled this year!

Tonight was our official celebrating of my birthday. Well, first let me tell about the morning. Lilly's schedule was thrown way out of whack with our girl's day yesterday. She woke up at 2 am and wanted to eat. When she got up at 7, I was dead-tired. I have the hardest time getting back to sleep after feeding her. Ryan was just about to leave for work, but when he saw how tired I was, he told me to go back to bed and that he'd go into work late so that I could sleep. Yeah, best hubby ever! He also arranged to have a friend babysit Lilly tonight while we went out. Stubborn as always, I only ever replied "we don't have to go out" when Ryan would ask where I wanted to go for dinner. I feel bad spending any money. He insisted we got out, and if I wasn't going to pick, he was. Where did we end up going? Rodizio Grill! After helping me inside once we got home, because of how much my tummy hurt, we settled down in bed to watch the new Batman movie. I don't think I'm going to be able to move from the bed...

Opened the first box to find another box, to find another box. Willow declares this FORT KITTY!

Oh the fun I have in store for you!

Decorative baskets for our bedroom. Yeah, I'm obsessed with damask.
Lilly's other bottom, center tooth is coming in. The poor thing has a terrible diaper rash, so I let her roll around on the floor, naked for a while. Thanks for the tip, mom! She enjoyed herself.

This is what sheer agony looks like. My last time ever at Rodizio Grill, I felt the need to eat myself to death. My tummy hurt SO bad.
