Once on the road, I started to realize, as we were heading South, that the North-bound lane was completely stopped for miles. I was getting super stressed about making my appointment, especially now that I would apparently be stuck in traffic. I don't know how it happened, or why the Lord decided to grant me a few tender mercies, but once I dropped Ryan off and headed back North, the accident that was holding everyone up was gone, and traffic was moving perfectly. I did, however, get stuck behind some bozo who was in the carpool lane, going 40 MPH. It's like she felt badly that everyone else was forced to go slow, so she didn't want to make them jealous by going too fast. I was SO mad. Yes, I'll admit, I honked...it didn't do anything. But I'm proud to report that I somehow managed to get to my appointment on time and with no accidents. I even had enough time to spare to feed and change Lilly. The photoshoot went so well. She was ADORABLE, as always. I can't wait to show the pictures.
Once done with the photoshoot, I had to run all the way out near the airport to pick up Lilly's birth certificate. Thank goodness, for the first time in my life, a government building wasn't busy AT ALL, and I was in and out in under 10 minutes. By that point, the lack of sleep and overabundance of anxiety had me beyond tired. I had a hard time driving home because of how heavy my eyes were. I only got a 20 minute snoozer (interrupted by a knock on the door...which was ignored because I was in my undies :P ) before having to pick Ryan up from work. I've somehow managed to survive long enough to write out this post. But my bed is calling to me now, so I must end here. Nighty-night.

| Imagine the laugh this got out of me when Ryan came walking up. My goodness is she cute...and apparently very proud that she voted. |
