Blessed Day

We've been looking forward to this day for a long time. Lilly got to be blessed by her daddy! Seeing all of the men in our family unite in a circle around Lilly was such an amazing thing. I turned to my mom and told her how I wish we could have gotten a picture. I'll never forget it. We all breathed a sigh of relief when she made it through the blessing without screaming...that didn't last long though. She started to get hungry towards the end of the meeting, so our ward got to hear and see the slightly angry side of Lilly. After the blessing, we enjoyed having all of the family over at our house for refreshments and more baby time. It was quite crowded for such a small place, but we somehow managed to squeeze everyone in. I'd like to send out a huge thank you to all of our family for coming, and an even bigger thank you to our moms for bringing food. We love you guys so much! The best part of the day, for me, was when I turned around and saw both Ryan's mom and Ryan's grandma looking at the baby, crying. It means so much to us to have such loving family, and we were so happy to have everyone come today.

Ryan and I have spent the past 3 days cleaning this place from head to toe...all the while getting no sleep, and Ryan stressing about the blessing. Once everyone left, we crashed! Lilly's actually on top of Angel. Ha!
