Since Ryan was gone all morning, I got to watch conference alone. I was kind of bummed because they talked a lot about having babies and being good parents; topics I would have loved listening to with Ryan. I had a nice image flash when President Boyd K. Packer (my cousin) said "the next time you hold a newborn..." I realized that soon enough, I will be. It made me happy. All of the talks about raising children in the church had me realizing the responsibility that Ryan and I are about to undertake. Quite terrifying if you ask me. But we will definitely try our hardest. :D I loved all of the talks. It felt like a lot of them were directed at issues I'm having. Lots of talks about trials and being strong. Can't wait for tomorrow's session. I always love getting to hear about planned temples, getting to hear from the Prophet, and getting to listen to the Mormon Tabernacle Choir. Even more special was getting to see a choir made of elders and sister missionaries.
When Ryan finally got home, only ten minutes before the second session (he was late because he stopped to get me lunch. Sweet!), he and Junie had an arm wrestling match. Haha! She loves to grab onto our fingers, so he pretends they're arm wrestling. It's adorable...video below.
