On Road Redwood

I wonder to myself how many of you that read my post title immediately thought of the dumb commercials that have been all over TV for way too long. I never liked them! Anyway, after work today, we went to all of the local furniture stores to search for a nice rocking chair for the baby nursery. At first we were just going to get one from Target or Walmart, but after reading too many bad reviews about how they break easily, especially for those of us who are weight handicapped, we decided to splurge on something more reliable. What could be more reliable than a nice, heavy-duty (yet cute) recliner. And I secretly want something that I can fall asleep in if needed. So we went on the hunt to find the right recliner. Our first stop was Furniture Warehouse, the home of the infamous catch phrase "on Road Redwood." We didn't expect to be warmly greeted by the younger man in the commercials. He was super nice, so it made me sad that we didn't buy something from him. Anyway, now you know! We're on the hunt for something functional, cute, and affordable.

I really like this one. Too bad it doesn't match the color scheme...but at this point I don't care. It's cute enough to get away with :P
