Welcome To The Family...

Tricked you again!! So the pet situation in our family has been very odd these past few weeks. After the sad death of Cinnamon, my step-dad was urging my mom to get a new dog. She wasn't thrilled with the idea, but gave in. Last Saturday they went out and adopted Buddy. Buddy was rescued from a pet hoarder in Texas. He had severe fleas, was terrified of people, but was a sweet, loving dog. My family is one that lives under the rule of helping those that need us the most, and Buddy definitely needed them the most. Unfortunately, my step-dad didn't realize that he was really good at getting out of the backyard. After only having him for one day, Buddy ran away and hasn't been seen since. :( One would think they would just admit that maybe they shouldn't get another dog. Nope. This weekend they went out and got another dog. Sheesh! Snickers (yes, Snickers) is their new addition. I was able to meet my dog-sister today and she is so cute. Jeff had just taken her to get her groomed, so she showed up at work with pretty bows in her hair. She is so sweet and cute. She adores my mom and Jeff...she's won them over so much, she's received the privilege of sleeping in their bed. Here's to hoping that she sticks around a bit longer than Buddy. And here's to hoping that Buddy finds a loving family.
