Torture

I promise that at some point I will write a post that's got a happy undertone. But I'm miserable, so I'm sorry my friends, but you will have to endure as I do.... When I finally decided to turn off my iPod and give sleep a try last night, it didn't come to me until the horrific hour of 3 am. As we were settling down for bed, I noticed a slight throbbing in my head, specifically my left eye socket. By the time I tried to sleep, it was excruciating...to the point of making me want to cry. And on top of that, I seem to have a bad case of "night sickness." Yes, that's a play on "morning sickness." It's not fun when you're tucked into the corner of the bed, with no quick escape route to the bathroom, and you honestly fear vomiting on your husband. What a wake-up call that would be! So that was my night. I sat there, trying to talk myself out of puking, while trying to also calm myself so that my migraine would ease itself. I don't know how, but eventually I fell asleep. Too bad for me, I woke up with the same migraine. Hmmf! The nausea is back this evening and again I found myself fighting with dinner. Since Ryan's not here, I didn't have to make anything. Instead, I picked through the pantry, trying to find something that sounded yummy. What did I find? CROUTONS! Dinner tonight for Nanny is a cup full of croutons...oh, and possibly the leftover shortcakes. I really hope that whatever my medicine is doing to me will stop soon. I really don't like feeling sick all the time. I will admit that I'm probably at fault for my current bout of nausea. I hate watching TV because nothing is on, so I settled for "Bizarre Foods." This will be interesting....
