Nausea, Cravings, and Flowers

The title of this post may have some of you startled into thinking that I'm pregnant. I can happily assure you that I am not. But since I'm having tons of pregnancy symptoms, oh boy, I wish I was. Then it wouldn't feel like such a waste. I've been taking so many meds, stopping other meds, and everything in between, so I've been getting nauseous every day. I was so sick when Ryan got home, I couldn't even eat dinner. We still had to go grocery shopping (which is not fun when the sight of food makes you want to die), but when I spotted these sweet little morsels, I HAD to have them. Learning from previous pregnancy experience, when you're nauseous and nothing sounds good, on the rare occasion that something does sound good, eat it!! I found little angel food cakes and strawberries! Forget real food for dinner, I came home and ate this instead. No need for whipped cream either. I'm happy with just the cake and strawberries. Mmmmm! They were so good!

And may I just say, it looks amazing when paired with my zebra plates!

Ryan knew that I wasn't feeling good, so he stopped off and got me more flowers. This time he got me ones that are in a pot, so I can keep them for longer than a week. Unfortunate, considering we're going to Seattle this week and I won't have anyone to water them. I can't trust Angel with that task because the first thing she did when she saw them was try to eat them.

I'm a little upset with my body right now. Between the extreme back issues (which turned out to be a catastrophe this weekend) and my nausea, I haven't been able to workout. So, tonight I guess I'll be cuddled up in bed with my iPod. Ryan is taking a 3 hour job interview test online tonight, so I can't talk or interrupt. Hopefully he does well! Only 3 more days and we'll be off to Seattle! Can't wait!
