Curiosity Killed the Lilly

Last Friday, Lilly and I were invited to join Kirsten and Thomas (Lilly's BEST friend) at the new Museum of Curiosity at Thanksgiving Point. I had heard good things about this place, so I was super excited. We were there for several hours, and while Lilly and Thomas played, Kirsten and I caught up and talked babies. It was much-needed. Holy cow, there was a ton of stuff to do and see. We didn't even get to see it all because Lilly was beyond exhausted and started to just mosey around. I think it's safe to say she had a good time, and was SUPER happy to see her Thomas again.

In the green screen room. Thomas was pretending to be eaten by a dinosaur, so Lilly grabbed him by the jacket and pulled him to safety.

Just barely missed the picture of her eating one of the fish food pellets. She thought I wasn't looking...

Her first time on a see-saw. She just straddled it and hung on for dear life.

Just like always, she found something to climb in, so she did. Right as she sat down, this adorable little boy walked up and started to push her in the wheelbarrow. It was SO cute! Don't you love his little nerd glasses?! Lilly found her own nerd boyfriend!

These were little rubber shreds that the kids could play with. Lilly wasn't so sure of the feel of them at first, but then started to toss them in the air, shouting "hurray!". At one point, she got so excited, she turned to the girl next to her, poured a handful in her hair and said "it's snowing!" Ha!

This was one of my favorite rooms that we played in. Lilly didn't really understand the concept of a puppet show. For the first little bit, all you could see was cute piggy tails sticking up.

Once Thomas showed her how to do it, she decided to be a piggy

She stuck her arm right out and started to babble in unintelligible baby talk, as if her piggy was talking. It was the cutest thing I've ever seen!

Passed out before I could even leave Thanksgiving Point. Poor thing was SO tired.
