I've noticed that my decorating style is generally something that just happens, rather than me putting a lot of thought into it. I'll find a pattern or something I like, and just roll with it. That's kind of how my dining room is turning out. First it was the chevron, and now I'm realizing that it's starting to feel very "country," which I LOVE. Today I blew right through my allowance and bought a new shelf. I had a lot of buyer's remorse, since it was so expensive, but every time I look at it, the happiness it brings me outweighs the guilt. I'm thinking I need more of the cute, white pitchers, though.

| It's a bit more yellow than I want it to be, so I'll eventually paint it. It was either this or black, and I figured yellowy-white was easier to paint over than black. |
