Baby Bath Time

I plan to post as much as I can about Lilly's big milestones because I realize family wants to see these adorable videos and pictures. Last night was Lilly's first at-home "real" bath. Her cord fell off on Sunday, but I waited to give her an actual bath until Ryan could be present. He has school Monday, Tuesday, and Wednesday nights until 9. Lilly provided some much-needed laughter for mommy when she peed all down the front of daddy. I was trying to get the bath ready while Ryan held onto the naked princess, but she apparently couldn't hold it. He wasn't too pleased, but I couldn't stop laughing.

This will be our first weekend since being home that we don't have anything planned. I can't tell you how thrilled I am about that. I love all of our many visitors and fun events that we've been going to, but I'm about at my whits end with how hard it makes life to be "entertaining" all the time. I just want this holiday weekend to hog my hubby and my baby. Yeah, that sounds nice.....

Some funny pictures from the past two days. Lilly loves to kick out her feet...she's not much into being swaddled anymore. Junie thought it was an invite to play, when she saw the baby feet poking around under the sheets. ...Ryan figured out how to get her to feed herself by propping the bottle up on the blanket. Ha, so not happening! And of course, our little wiggle bug LOVES tummy time. She's SO strong. The pediatrician keeps remarking about how strong she is. She loves to stand up and kick out those little legs. And mommy loves watching!

  1. She is going to hate you for this when it gets shown at family reunions when she is 12.
