Team Work

Wow! That's all I can say right now. I woke up at 3:00 this morning and just couldn't get back to sleep. I had only just fallen back asleep when Ryan woke me up at 7:00 to say goodbye. When I woke up for real, it was almost 10. I got up and filled my tummy with Captain Crunch and then fell back asleep. I was SOOO tired...and not to mention, cranky. I was a little upset for no good reason. Just one of those hormonal days. Trying to appear to be a good wife, I was up and "making dinner" when Ryan got home...dinner that he ended up finishing for me. After dinner, it was right back upstairs for the same thing I'd been doing all day...nothing! Ryan had to finish some homework, so I just sat in bed. I won't lie, I was a little upset still. I get sick of doing nothing all day, and then doing nothing when Ryan gets home. I understand that he deserves some time to unwind when he gets home, so I usually just sit and play on my iPod. But this time, I couldn't stand another second in bed. I started to head downstairs when Ryan cut me off and asked where I was going. When I told him I was going to clean, he came with me. I was only going to tinker, since that's what makes me happier. But we ended up cleaning more than I could have ever done on my own. He pulled out the dryer and cleaned the lint out of the tubes, I scrubbed filters, he vacuumed...It was way more than I had planned, but I couldn't complain. Oh, and it didn't stop there. When I went upstairs, he was moving the bed closer to the window so that we could put the baby's bassinet by my side of the bed. It was quite the task. It only took us 3 hours, but we deep cleaned in a way that totally turned around my mood. We make a good team. I am, however, so incredibly sore, but I guess that's how life will be until my body isn't being shared.

Ideally it would be rotated the other way, but since we don't have a large bedroom, it had to be this way. And, thankfully, I can still get into the closet. Not like I'm going to be dressing up much once she's here.

I had to share this. Ryan has been wanting to get a video camera for a long time. He finally found one that he liked. It came today, and he had no idea it would be so tiny. It's literally smaller than his iPhone (about 2" X 4" ) I love it! Now we can record every moment of baby. :D
