Wife Wish List

As many of you know, I'm extremely OCD. I can completely clean my apartment from head to toe, and the next day do it all over again. I live to clean & clean to live! Today while I was doing my chores, I started pondering all the little tools (some not so little) that would make all this housework so much easier/enjoyable. I decided to make my husband a "wife wish list" for any upcoming holiday or spontaneous gift giving venture he goes on. Here are a few of the things I want:

A plastic bag holder. Right now we just have one huge JCPenny bag that we cram all the plastic grocery bags in. It's ginormous and takes up a lot of room. Every time I go to get a plastic bag, I think about how amazing it'd be to have something that hangs on the wall and gets the clutter down.

This one is more for my sanity than it is for my OCD. Our shower is so compact, being a big person, I find showering to be very uncomfortable. The wet, sticky shower curtain is always touching me and it drives me nuts. I want one of those bowed hotel shower curtains that pulls the curtain out a bit more. Ahh, what it would be like to have room to shower!

A new vacuum!! When I moved out to Omaha, we bought me a cheepo $30 piece of junk vacuum to get me by. The fact that I'm still using it depresses me. I spend so much time going over the same spots when I vacuum because it doesn't pick anything up. Angel sheds so much too! When I'm on a cleaning spree, I never feel complete until I've vacuumed. I really want a Dyson, and what do you know, they make a pink one! I just wish my husband loved me enough to get me a pink vacuum. :P

Going with the last item, I want a Hoover steam vac. My mom had one and I loved it! When we moved into our apartment, we had freshly cleaned carpets, but seeing as we moved in the middle of winter, the wet, dirty shoes have made the carpets gross. A steam vac is a useful tool no matter where you live and I know I could get a lifetime of use out of it!!

Duster/Pet hair remover. I find myself getting anxious at how much dust and pet hair are everywhere. I avoid cleaning up either because I don't have anything that makes it easy. I really want a Swiffer duster! And for the swade couch that seems to attract everything, I want a lint brush. Not the annoying kind that you have to peel the sticker off of, the actual fabric brush. Or maybe I should just shave Angel bald.

Are these too much to ask for? Forget the flowers and jewelry, I want cleaning supplies! Haha! I hope Ryan reads this post. *nudge, nudge, wink, wink*
