Things are looking up.

Lots of little tid bits of good news. We finally sold our ugly, old couch!! I was able to do some extensive testing with the new couch today and can say that it passed my quality control test for nap taking. Just ask Ryan how much I snored. :P
We also finally sold my laptop, and surprisingly made $700 off of that piece of junk. And last, but not least, Nanny's Notes may not be a complete bust. I'm still trying to decide. I'm considering an offer from Robert's Arts & Crafts to teach down in Provo once a month. I get to name my price and all that, but I'm having a hard time deciding if it's worth the 2 hour drive and stress that it'll cause me. I'm hoping the fact that Provo is the craft capital of the world will change my mind. I haven't really sold many cards, lots of nibbles, but no takers. Regardless of what happens, it's something that I'm going to keep doing on the side because it's a good outlet for me, and makes me feel special that people appreciate my talents.

We were finally able to have my family up to see the finished apartment. I wish we didn't live so far away. It takes 45 minutes to see my family, and most of the time we use the excuse of distance as a reason for not getting together. I may as well be in Omaha!!! We had a good time though. We celebrated my mom's birthday. 29 again!! It was really fun! I love my mom and I'm always happy when another birthday comes around.

No newlywed news. Just looking for a job and trying to stay busy during the days. I'm wondering when I'm going to break from being stir-crazy.
