Here's the kitchen.

If you'll notice a few things. First, the tiny pink fridge on top of the fridge. That's our soda fridge. (is it against the law to have both Diet Pepsi AND Diet Coke in the same fridge?) Second, the 3 monkeys hanging from the ceiling. We got them on our honeymoon. One is covering his eyes, one is covering his ears, and the other is covering his mouth.... "see no evil, hear no evil, speak no evil..."

The Living Room...still waiting for the 16X20 wedding picture to hang above the couch. The room is quite large. There's another 4 feet or so behind where I was standing. Ignore the dinky old couch. Our wedding gift to ourselves is a new, L-shaped, brown couch. Coming soon....

Here's what you can't see. Can you tell I hung the cubes myself? Now that I'm looking at them, I think perhaps they're a little crooked. Shoot! Not entirely sure what to put in them. I'm thinking about stacking picture frames on top of them.

Dining...ehh...room? More like dining corner. Complete with the pretty flower that Ryan brought home for me last night.

Bedroom. Notice anything wrong with the bed? That brownish lump is NOT a pillow. Had she not been on the bed, I'd probably been able to beautify it a little more. As you can tell (probably from straining your eyes against the harsh white background), we haven't hung our curtains yet. Same color as the living room, but silky.

Here are two random bedroom pictures. We fell in love with this rug. And I HAD to show how well I played our real-life Tetris game, AKA, our closet! I turned this tiny thing into a well-organized, and colored categorized closet.

Our in-home movie theater. 70" of pure joy! This is the view from our bed. The screen goes back up to the ceiling when we're done! Nothing better for two movieaholics.
If you couldn't already tell, we're both tech-junkies. This is our "office" corner. We enjoy a little newlywed gaming every night when Ryan gets home.
I know you're all dying to see the bathroom. My mom and mother-in-law decorated it for us. LOVE the monogrammed towel.

I may be crazy to blog about my washer & dryer, but hear me out! For the past few years, I've either had to pay for my laundry and haul it up 3 flights of stairs, or I've had to live in a house with 9 people and had to wait in a very long line to do my laundry. Quite a lot to go through for clean undies! I'm ecstatic that I have my very own machines!! Clean clothes for everyone!!

Here are a few random decoration pictures. I'm in love with my shelf that we hung above the sink. Dating mementos to look at everyday and remind me how fun my road has been.

And finally, this was our favorite wedding gift. Hand-made by one of Ryan's coworkers. It hangs by the front door to remind us what kind of people we need to be when we leave and who we expect to be when we come home.
I love our apartment. I may be getting carried away with decorating, but doesn't it look so cute!?

I am incredibly impressed! Could you please come to my house next?! I particularly love the huge movie screen!!
ReplyDeleteDone and done! I think I'm enjoying this house wife job way more than any other career. :D
